Dr. Stewart Rosenberg has a private practice in is a past president of the Academy of Laser Dentistry and currently serves on the board of the World Clinical Laser Institute.
He is a founding member and past president of the World Congress of Minimally Invasive Dentistry. He is a fellow of the International Society of Laser Dentists, the American Society of Laser Medicine and Surgery, the International College of Craniomandibular Orthopedics, the AACD and the AGD.
Dr. Rosenberg maintains a private practice in Laurel, MD and is an attending at John Hopkins Hospital.

Dr. Robert Waugh

Dr. Bob Waugh, a native Georgian, has been practicing in the Athens area since 1989. He received his BS degree from Mercer University in 1983. Dr. Waugh then became the Medical College of Georgia School of Dentistry’s first combined degree graduate in 1987, earning both his D.M.D. and an M.S. in Oral Biology. Upon graduation, he was elected to Omicron Kappa Upsilon, the national dental honor society. Dr. Waugh attended his residency in orthodontics at the Baylor College of Dentistry, earning his certificate of specialization in 1989 and becoming a Diplomate of the American Board of Orthodontics in 2000.
Dr. Waugh participates in many related activities that keep him abreast of the latest developments in orthodontic care. He has been teaching orthodontics at the Medical College of Georgia since 1990, giving resident courses in a variety of areas that include Interdisciplinary Dentistry, Orthognathic Surgery, the Damon System of orthodontics, and Orthodontic Business Management. He has recently served as president of the Clarke County Dental Society, as well as the Georgia Association of Orthodontists.

Dr. Brett Dyer

Dr. Brett Dyer graduated from the University of Texas and continued his education at The University of Texas Dental Branch in Houston, becoming certified to practice periodontics in 1990 and continued research at the Dental Branch until May, 1991 earning his Master of Science in Periodontics.
Dr. Dyer’s research on regeneration won several awards. He has published his research in the Journal of Periodontology, and other professional journals. He is a leader in the field of lasers in periodontics and speaks internationally on his research and techniques. Dr. Dyer is a Diplomat of the American Board of Periodontology.
Lasers in Oral Surgery and Implantology
Dr. Michael Block

Dr. Michael Block graduated from the University of Rochester in 1975, attaining both a BA in Biology and a BS in Biomedical Engineering.
He completed his dental training at the Harvard School of Dental Medicine in 1979, receiving his D.M.D. cum laude in a special field. He completed his residency program in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at the Louisiana State University School of Dentistry in 1983. He remained at the LSU School of Dentistry achieving the faculty level of Professor in the Department of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery.
He currently teaches one day a week in the dental school’s implant program, and maintains a private practice, the Center for Dental Reconstruction, in Metairie, Louisiana.
Lasers in Pediatric Dentistry
Dr. Betty Barr

Dr. Elizabeth “Betty” Barr is a 1974 graduate of the University of Kentucky College of Dentistry where she completed her residency in pediatric dentistry in 1976. She taught full time in pediatric dentistry in Omaha a one year, then moved to Denver in 1977 to open a private practice there. Dr. Barr practices with her sister, Nelle Barr, and a third pediatric dentist, Dr. Sean Whalen. They are joined one day a week by Betty’s husband, Dr. Don Kleier, an endodontist and Chair of the Division of Surgical Dentistry at the University of Colorado School of Dental Medicine.
Dr. Barr is Board Certified in Pediatric Dentistry and served as an Examiner on the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry from 1989-1996. She is a Fellow in the American College of Dentists and an Honorary Member of OKU.
Dr. Barr serves on the Council on Clinical Affairs for the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry, the committee that writes the Clinical Guidelines for the specialty.
She has authored 17 publications in the literature of dentistry, and presented several research abstracts and table clinics. Betty is adjunct faculty at the University of Kentucky College of Dentistry and the University of Colorado School of Dental Medicine pediatric dental residency programs. She speaks regionally to both pediatric dentists and general dentists on a variety of clinical topics.
Lasers in Endodontics
Dr. Justin Kolnick

Dr. Justin Kolnick attended dental school at the University of the Wit-water-srand in Johannesburg, South Africa. After graduating cum laude in 1977, he was awarded the University Scholarship for Overseas Postgraduate Study. In 1982, he graduated from the postdoctoral endodontic program at Columbia University.
Dr Kolnick entered into private practice limited to endodontics in 1982 with his teacher and mentor, Dr. Marvin Firdman in White Plains, NY. There he helped expand the practice to Mt Kisco, NY and develop the first microendodontic practice in Westchester County.
Dr Kolnick has been committed to endodontic education, first as an Associate Clinical Professor in Endodontics at Columbia and then as an Attending at Westchester Medical Center and Associate Clinical Professor in Endodontics at New York Medical College. He has lectured extensively on the local, national and international level and has published numerous articles on endodontics. In 2006, he formed the Advanced Endodontic Study Club of NY to foster the study, advancement and interchange of knowledge, for general dentists, in the art and science of endodontics.
